During a brief period working in a hair salon, I experienced the intimate sensation of giving a head massage moments after meeting someone for the very first time. Fascinated by this discomfort I created Buddy Treatment.

With Buddy Treatment, I invite the audience to undergo a similarly disorienting experience. Guided by an ASMR-like, absurdist mantra, visitors follow my voice as if it were a set of instructions. The performance plays with boundaries of proximity, trust, and suggestion — blurring the line between care and control.
